DongIT joins the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)

We are proud to announce that DongIT joined the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) in June 2026, becoming part of a pan-European community bringing together organisations from across the cybersecurity ecosystem.

For DongIT, joining ECSO is a natural step in our continued development as a European cybersecurity company. It gives us the opportunity to exchange knowledge, collaborate with peers and contribute our experience in penetration testing, security assessments and cybersecurity technology to discussions taking place across Europe.

What is ECSO?

The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) is a pan-European, non-profit federation based in Brussels that brings together cybersecurity companies, SMEs and start-ups, research organisations, universities, public authorities and operators of essential services.

Since its establishment in 2016, ECSO has developed into an important platform for cooperation within the European cybersecurity ecosystem. Through its Working Groups, Task Forces and other initiatives, members collaborate on topics including cybersecurity market development, digital sovereignty, trusted supply chains, certification, skills, research and innovation.

For DongIT, membership provides a direct way to participate in this wider European community and contribute practical experience from the security work we carry out every day.

What does this mean for DongIT, our clients and partners?

Cybersecurity challenges increasingly extend beyond individual organisations. Regulation, supply-chain dependencies, emerging technologies and the growing importance of European digital resilience are creating a stronger need for cooperation between security companies, governments, researchers and other stakeholders.

Through ECSO, we can exchange knowledge with organisations facing many of the same challenges, participate in discussions around European cybersecurity developments and contribute our perspective as an independent Dutch cybersecurity company.

This is particularly relevant as organisations across Europe adapt to developments such as NIS2 and place greater emphasis on security assurance, resilient supply chains and control over sensitive data and infrastructure.

For our clients and partners, our ECSO membership reinforces the direction DongIT has followed for years: combining strong technical expertise with a commitment to quality, independence and long-term security.

Looking ahead

Joining ECSO is not simply about becoming part of a network. We want to be an active participant in the European cybersecurity community, share what we learn through our work and contribute where our expertise can add value.

We are proud to take this next step and grateful to our team, clients and partners who have helped DongIT grow to this point.

We look forward to collaborating with fellow ECSO members and contributing to a stronger and more resilient European cybersecurity ecosystem.
