DongIT selected for CYSSDE Open Call 3 with SecureChain EU
DongIT has been selected for CYSSDE Open Call 3 for Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessment with SecureChain EU, our project focused on strengthening the cybersecurity of critical and NIS2-relevant organizations through practical, real-world security testing.
SecureChain EU is one of 10 projects selected from eight European countries under the latest CYSSDE Open Call. Through the 18-month program, DongIT aims to carry out approximately 18 penetration tests and security assessments for organizations across the EU, with a particular focus on food, manufacturing, maritime and interconnected supply chains.
From cybersecurity requirements to practical validation
Organizations in critical and interconnected sectors increasingly depend on combinations of applications, infrastructure, cloud services, operational technology and external suppliers. This creates security risks that can extend beyond individual systems or organizational boundaries.
SecureChain EU addresses these risks through practical penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. Depending on the organization and agreed scope, assessments can cover internal and external infrastructure, web applications and APIs, cloud environments, mobile applications, IoT and OT/ICS environments, as well as dependencies between interconnected systems and suppliers.
Our approved project places a particular emphasis on food and maritime supply-chain environments, while also including other NIS2-relevant sectors such as water, healthcare and digital infrastructure.
The objective is not simply to identify potential vulnerabilities, but to validate security weaknesses, understand realistic attack paths, and provide organizations with actionable remediation priorities.
Contributing to European cybersecurity resilience
CYSSDE (Cybersecurity Deployment Preparedness Support, Capacity & Capabilities) is a European initiative supported through the Digital Europe Program.
The program aims to strengthen penetration-testing and vulnerability-assessment capabilities across Europe by supporting real-world assessments for SMEs, critical infrastructure and NIS2-relevant organizations. Open Call 3 selected 10 projects from eight European countries, together planning more than 377 cybersecurity assessments.
For DongIT, SecureChain EU provides an opportunity to combine direct security improvements for participating organizations with wider European knowledge sharing. Alongside the assessments, the project aims to contribute practical testing approaches and insights that can support cybersecurity resilience beyond the individual organizations being tested.

As part of the project, a limited number of qualifying organizations across the EU will be able to access DongIT's penetration testing services at a reduced project rate.
We are particularly interested in organizations operating within food, manufacturing, maritime, transport, logistics and other NIS2-relevant or critical environments.
