Sales Representative

About the Role
As a Sales Representative at DongIT, you will be responsible for generating new business and expanding our client portfolio. Your main goal is to bring in new customers for our cybersecurity services and Reporter, our all-in-one pentest reporting workspace. You will identify prospects, build pipelines and close deals that directly drive DongIT’s growth.
Our clients include SMBs, scale-ups, financial institutions, consultancy firms, large enterprises, government organizations and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) looking for trusted cybersecurity and development partners. For Reporter, the focus is especially on consultancies, large enterprises, government organizations and MSSPs.
Success in this role will be measured by clear KPIs such as number of new accounts, pipeline growth and revenue targets, giving you clear expectations and the opportunity to directly benefit from DongIT’s growth.
What You’ll Do
- Actively generate leads and hunt for new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Reach out to prospects through calls, emails, networking and events.
- Present and pitch DongIT’s services to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare winning proposals.
- Track and report KPIs such as new accounts, pipeline size and revenue growth.
- Represent DongIT at fairs, conferences and networking events.
- Continuously improve your sales strategy to increase revenue.

What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development or account management (preferably in IT or cybersecurity).
- Proven track record in acquiring and closing deals of €25k+.
- Driven by targets and motivated to win new business.
- Confident communicator, persuasive and energetic.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
Nice to have:
- Network in IT, cybersecurity, or digital development.
- Knowledge of consultative selling and solution-based sales.
- Understanding of technical concepts to translate into client value.
- Experience in scaling client portfolios for a growing company.
